Stream Inclusivity: The program is designed for aspiring educators from all academic backgrounds. Whether your expertise lies in the Humanities, Pure Sciences, Social Sciences, or Commerce, you are eligible to pursue this professional teaching qualification.
Subject Specialization: Applicants must have studied at least one of the school subjects (such as Mathematics, History, Languages, or Science) at the graduation level to determine their pedagogical specialization during the B.Ed. course.
Professional Standards: Admission is strictly governed by the norms set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), ensuring that the candidate’s previous degree meets the professional standards required for teacher training.
Entrance Examination: Most states and central universities require candidates to qualify for a Common Entrance Test (CET). Eligibility for final admission is often based on the rank secured in these competitive assessments.
Annual Enrollment: Student intake is conducted once per academic year. Prospective students must keep track of the specific counseling dates and merit list announcements provided by the respective education departments.
